This instrumental, cross-sectional and exploratory study carried out a preliminary review of a ten-item scale with two dimensions, perceived transport conditions and tension during the trip, administered in the pilot survey of project FZ-HAB-0023 of the Factoriza UAS platform to urban public transport users in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. A preliminary cut of 6 cases, out of a target of 100, was analyzed with descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, McDonald's omega and inter-item correlations; factor analysis was not interpretable given the size of the cut. Tension during the trip showed high internal consistency (α = .855; ω = .863), with worry about arriving late as the highest-scoring item, whereas perceived transport conditions showed a negative alpha (α = -3.359), suggesting that it groups heterogeneous service attributes such as frequency, comfort, cleanliness, crowding and shade at the stop. Respondents rated bus comfort, cleanliness and crowding unfavorably. The results do not estimate the properties of the scale, but they guide its revision before the final data cut.
