This instrumental, cross-sectional and exploratory study carried out a preliminary review of a fifteen-item scale with three dimensions, indoor comfort of the dwelling, adequacy of the dwelling for work and satisfaction with working from home, administered in the pilot survey of project FZ-HAB-0011 of the Factoriza UAS platform to people who work from home in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. A preliminary cut of 17 cases, out of a target of 100, was analyzed with descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, McDonald's omega, an exploratory factor analysis reported only as documentation, and Spearman correlations between dimensions. Comfort showed moderate internal consistency (α = .628; ω = .694), supported by temperature and ventilation, whereas adequacy (α = -.079) and satisfaction (α = -.433) did not behave as dimensions. Internet connection obtained the highest mean (M = 4.35), and end-of-day exhaustion, in its recoded version, the lowest (M = 2.65). The exploratory analysis grouped the three reverse-worded items in a single factor. The results do not estimate the properties of the scale, but they guide its revision before the final data cut.
