This study analyzed the efficacy of tranexamic acid and vitamin C (ascorbic acid), associated with microneedling, in a sample of six women drawn from a population of 10 candidates. Variables such as age, lesion evolution time, number of sessions, and clinical differences between both treatments were evaluated. The results indicated a significant reduction in the melanin index in both groups, with moderate statistical superiority in the tranexamic acid group. Mechanisms of action, limitations, and clinical recommendations are discussed.
